8-Month-Old Little Maruko

This 8-month-old baby has an adorable Little Maruko-chan hairstyle, excellent motor skills, and loves to smile. When we first met, she tilted her little head and observed me seriously, but before long, her chubby fingers were reaching out to touch the camera lens.

Because the baby’s dad doesn’t speak Chinese, this was my first time doing a video “interview” in English since I started photographing — though it was really just a light and easy conversation, and all my nerves were for nothing.

We’ve already scheduled another session for July — feeling so grateful.
