Always moved by relaxed and natural photos!

Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely family, and I absolutely loved the experience.

The home’s soft decor featured my favorite caramel and dark green tones, creating a vintage vibe, with plenty of plants that made it feel like a garden. As soon as I stepped inside, the mom excitedly shared the names and 'personalities' of each plant (though the only name I remember now is 'Polka Dot Queen Trout Begonia'). It’s clear that, alongside caring for her two little ones, she also takes great care in tending to her plants.

The two children were both adorable. The older sister is five, and the younger sister is two and a half. Their personalities are so different— the younger one is very calm and thoughtful, often resting her chin on her hand as if pondering life. It wasn’t until the shoot was nearly finished that she fully opened up, laughing happily while hugging her mouse toy. The older sister loves beauty and knew we were taking photos, so she wore a blue Elsa necklace, pink earrings, and even painted her nails in advance. She had so much confidence in front of the camera— the perfect subject for a photographer!

What I felt most strongly in this home was a sense of ease and relaxation, likely due to the environment— things were abundant but not cluttered, neatly placed where they were easy to access. It made me feel calm and comfortable. Of course, the parents’ laid-back attitude played a big role too. They weren’t in a rush to do anything but simply enjoyed playing with their kids and watching them grow at their own pace.
