100 Days of Becoming Mom and Dad

As the baby reaches their 100-day milestone, these quiet, tender days also mark the first 100 days of two young people becoming parents. From the early days of feeling overwhelmed, to slowly learning how to change diapers, discovering new ways to hold the baby, figuring out how to soothe and help them sleep… it’s clear that mom and dad are growing right alongside their little one.
To document the baby’s 100 days is also to capture every heartfelt moment of care and companionship from the parents.

This session followed the familiar “young couple + helpful auntie” setup, and everything went smoothly. Thanks to the dad’s cheerful and humorous personality, the atmosphere at home was relaxed and full of laughter. I didn’t need to do much to help them “warm up” — all I had to do was quietly observe and capture.

Their home’s design was also just my style — simple, bright, and full of soft whites. Even on a rainy day, the space remained airy and perfect for photos.
In the end, everyone loved the final images.
To me, a series like this — gentle, honest, and full of the traces of growth — is the most touching kind of story to tell.
